Windows and Murals

I will add some samples of window paintings soon - these are great for businesses that want a little something different on their window display.

There is reverse painting - painting on the inside of the window so that it can be seen on the outside - this lasts very well as long as access inside isn't an issue - but it does cure outside access issues.

Many people opt for painting on the outside of the window - this is more temporary (great for seasonal changes like Christmas, spring) but it's not completely weather proof - it will last a little while.

The cost of adding a window mural also includes the removal.

Wall murals are one of my favourite things to do - modern living means that we don't always have lots of pictures hanging up and sometimes a mural can create a wonderful feature. This one does happen to sit behind one of my own paintings - the trees and leaves were done in emulsions while the toadstool was done in acrylic.

The photo doesn't show it but there is shimmery gold sparkles on and around the toadstool - these show up beautifully in the sunshine and bring it to life.

This one was a full room paint plus the mural - lots of straight lines! This was mostly done in acrylic paint and Posca pens. There was also a lot of gold acrylic paint which lifts the design of the cherry blossom tree branches.

Really enjoyed this one.
